update

Still nothing to show, sorry. This week has been difficult, due to 2 other projects, plus work, plus school. I’m hardly ever home, hence I hardly ever have access to my computer.

I expect the current situation to be just temporary. At any rate, this is why there’s an rss feed. The next page is started, but I haven’t had time to work on it.

New page! Huzzah! Triple digits! I thought this would be a simple page, but then I kept adding layers and layers . . .

Sorry about the filler last week. I really hate missing updates since it slows down the (already slow) plot flow, but there was no way around it.

Speaking of such, I am going back to school next week, and I don’t know how my schedule is going to shape up. I’m going to give myself a (much-needed) break and say I’m not going to guarantee an update next week. I have an rss feed if you don’t want to keep checking the site for new pages.

Because I don’t have time to say much — running behind, you see.

But anyway, it’s amazing to me that I’ve been working on the comic for this long. As I discovered from my sketches, I first starting working on this about a year before I put the webpage online.

Other fun facts: originally, I was going to call the comic “Quest for the Shattered Staff of Doom” which I would abbreviate QftSSoD. Yikes. I actually made the first few pages with that title, but I changed it to “Off the Walkthrough!” before anything made it online. I’m very glad I changed that.

Anyway, I hope this is at least somewhat entertaining for you. I personally like to see how various characters evolve, so I hope you do, too.

Next week should see a normal comic update — trust me, I’m at least as anxious about it as you are.

drawing despite severe stomach discomfort

Sorry, I have to whine a little.

Anyway, PAGE! At last! Seriously, I think I’m getting tired of this arc and want to move on. At least we’re close.

Also, as mentioned, I will have to skip a comic update next week, as I’m going to be gone most of the week and so won’t have time to finish. But, amazingly, since this also corresponds to my 100th page and 2 year anniversary of this comic being online, I figured I could put together a sketchdump of some of my earliest character designs, and a few other funny sketches I haven’t posted yet., to celebrate the occasion

Hopefully that will be entertaining enough to make up for leaving you with yet another cliffhanger.

Okay, page is done now. I guess I’m stressing this arc more, so it just takes longer to do everything? That, and Mr. Batwings there takes a really long time to draw!

I might have to miss an update, due to a trip in a couple of weeks. I’ll have some sort of interesting filler prepared, so never fear.

Also, I think it is worth mentioning that we are nearing the Two Year Anniversary of my comic. Oh my goodness, have I really been doing this for so long? Apparently!
